Welcome, the Salon is now open

A theatre-cum-fine-dining experience in many and varied beautiful surroundings in collaboration with Fair Trade Partners.

Since the 17th Century afternoon tea has had a close association with the great houses of the country; as has the luxurious meal we now associate with the taking of tea in the afternoon.

We have teamed up with Arts Council England and a number of artisan and fair trade partners to develop ‘The Salon’: a period afternoon tea experience in the company of a gracious host, her flamboyant associates and her domestic staff. Audiences will be immersed in a bygone era and invited to enjoy the company of friends, strangers and characters for a pleasurable performance and a sumptuous feast. We encourage dressing up for those that enjoy wearing a really good hat, a nicely cut fashion or even full Edwardian dress, but we welcome you however you are most comfortable. The Salon will appear in Stately Homes and Historic Houses, Theatrical Venues and Festivals and is also bookable for Private Events from Autumn 2011.

Gideon Reeling are delighted that Artisan Bakers Lily Vanilli will be collaborating for many of the dates of the Salon du Thé.

Be sure not to miss these unique experiences and very finest of meals by frequenting our Happenings page or, alternatively, you can subscribe to our newsletter: both will contain the latest information on forthcoming events and all Salon du Thé dispatches.

We look forward to having you in our company very soon.

Only 5 days to go until we share tea with our guests at Ham House...

Greetings, this is just a little test to see if our new web site is...
